I first saw Matt at an English leaders’ workshop and was really impressed by the way he presented himself and engaged with the audience. He has bags of skill, and plenty of energy and enthusiasm that I knew would be perfect for my school. So I booked him in to work with year 4 and 5 immediately.

On the day, the children were excited to be taught English by a boxer! They found him engaging and inspiring. He was sensitive to the children’s abilities and tailored the poetry work to their needs. With fully resourced kit, the children had fun learning boxing skills and playing ‘tag boxing’.

The final part of the day was an assembly to parents and the rest of the school. All children wanted to perform their work and were proud of what they had achieved. The quality of their work was outstanding. Matt also charmed the parents with his work too.

The children felt that Matt was ‘a cool teacher’, and feedback from parents after the assembly was really positive, the feeling was that Matt is an excellent role model for their children. I would highly recommend a visit from Matt to your school.
